Business days and holidays

Business-day mode answers a different question from a calendar countdown: how much working time remains?

What is skipped

• Saturdays and Sundays are always excluded when business-day mode is enabled.
• Add holiday dates that should also be excluded.
• Remaining partial days still show precise hours and minutes.

When to use it

Business days work well for review windows, internal approval time, fulfillment targets, and operational deadlines that pause outside the working week.

Important limitation

The v1 business-day engine does not model working hours, half days, or regional holiday calendars automatically. Add the holidays that apply to your team and treat the output as an operational aid rather than a legal deadline calculator.

Example

A deadline on Monday afternoon may show one business day remaining on Friday afternoon even though the calendar interval spans the weekend.
